EASTKAL SUPPLY BASE

Introduction

To meet the increasing demand in the Oil/ Gas, Mining and Forestry Sectors in Kalimantan, PT. PELABUHAN PENAJAM BANUA TAKA (Eastkal Supply Base) have commenced construction of a supply base on approximately 100 hectares of land, located in Penajam, East Kalimantan. The site is situated on the Riko River with direct access to Balikpapan Bay and the Makassar Straits.
A team of higly experienced professionals has been assembled to manage the facility, with a combined experience of over 200 year in the Oil & Gas / Mining industries.

Our supply base facilities with its enviable location as well as its strategic values represent distinct advantages that would not only have a significant impact on cost reduction for all users, but also will increase productivity and the supply of services due to its 24 hours Non-Stop Operation.
This is a multi user Supply Base that will service all industry sectors and allow for Long-Term Strategic Planning, and accommodate all types of service providers in order to be a local partner in the Logistic Supply Chain of your organization.

To meet these rising demands, PT. PELABUHAN PENAJAM BANUA TAKA (Bikatrans Group of Companies) have commenced the construction of a deep water Supply Base of 100 plus hectares , with full Port facilities on its 1 Km Waterfront , with another 100 Hectares in reserve for future expansion. The Supply Base is located in Penajam (7 Km West of Balikpapan), and is situated in the Balikpapan Bay with direct sea approach to Makassar Straits the - "EASTKAL SUPPLY BASE".

With the rapid development of industrial and commercial activities in East Kalimantan Province, the key elements for efficient and effective operations is the shortening of time and distance of the Logistic Supply Chain and increasing the level of productivity and services. A vast area of land for stockpiling logistic supplies as well as fabrication and repair facilities that has direct ocean access, an exclusive port facility, is something that is scarce in East Kalimantan' region particularly in the Balikpapan's vicinity
